The catalogue was kept simple to enhance the imagery. It depicts the product line, and includes what products to use for each hairstyle and how to use them. This was added to ensure the catalogue would be kept longer in a household, as it would be of use in regards to hairstyling.
The Garnier Fructis Campaign was made up for four parts : billboards, newspaper advertisements, direct mailer, and catalogue. The theme created was “A Hair-Raising Experience”, which is a play on words for both the hair product itself, and the eerie look of the toy trolls. Trolls were used to portray the idea that the Garnier Fructis products would be able to turn even troll-like hair into hair to be envied.
